Day 256

Becca met with the surgeon and had a great visit. He proceeded to tell us how excited he was that the tumor had 'significantly' shrunk. I hadn't seen him in this type of mood. He seemed very positive and felt that the surgery would be small. Although he gave us the standard 'but I won't know until we get in there line,' it seemed really good. Since she missed a few chemo's, he will have to talk with the Oncologist before he will set a surgery date. But for now, he wants to finish the remaining chemo's (5) and then do the surgery, since it's responding so well. We tend to believe the surgery should be sometime in May.

So, Becca will go in tomorrow to start her next round of chemo. This is the Methotrexate, so it will be a few days until she will be able to come home. Keep up the prayers and wish her luck!
