Day 120

It's been a few days and I'm sure I've kept a few of you on pins and needles. To be candid, I have been as well. Becca's fever finally broke late Friday and she has been able to keep a little food down. That is a lot of progress for her. That let's us know that the antibiotics are working, but she still has a long road ahead. She is still getting food via an IV and on a ton of different medications. They never really have determined where she got this or what exact type of bacterial meningitis it was, but that's ok by me. Becca walked today for a little bit in the hospital and she was able to see the boys (masks and sanitizer). We couldn't touch her or allow the boys to give her a hug, but just having us there for a brief moment was good for her spirits. We should know more tomorrow, as the CDC (Center for Disease Control) should be in to let us know where we are at.

This by far has been the most difficult time for us. It's hard for us to see her this sick and feel this helpless. I know that it's through everyone's prayers and faith that she is getting better. 40 weeks of chemo seems long now, but soon this will be another learning experience we can share with those we love. Please keep the faith. We love you all.
